Pipeline Service

LPS provides pre-commissioning, commissioning, pipeline services at oil and gas facilities:

  • Air and steam purging
  • Water flushing
  • Cleaning by means of skip cleaning pigs
  • Calibration of pipelines
  • Oil flushing
  • Chemical cleaning
  • Hydrotesting
  • Pneumatic tests
  • Tightness tests
  • Dehydration
  • Purging and filling with nitrogen

Cavity cleaning
Cavity cleaning is performed to remove oil deposits from in-service pipelines and rust, scale, welding slag, debris from commissioning pipelines.

We perform the following types of cavity cleaning operations:
  • Compressed air cleaning;
  • Steam cleaning;
  • Oil cleaning (oil washing);
  • Chemical cleaning
Pneumatic testing
Our fleet of pneumatic testing equipment includes more than 50 different machines, which allows us to fulfil large volumes of work. The possibility of carrying out work at several sites is ensured by the mobile design of the equipment.

  • Air screw 2-stage compressors: up to 32.6 m3/h and up to 30 bar;
  • Booster compressors: up to 104 m3/h and up to 350 bar;
  • Compressed air coolers: up to 6,700 m3/h.
  • Fuel tanks: up to 50 m3
Pipeline cavity drying
We use high-performance Donaldson adsorption dryers in a mobile design to dry the cavities of main and process pipelines.

  • type: adsorption
  • capacity: up to 80 m3/min;
  • degree of drying ("dew point"): up to -80C
  • working pressure: 24 bar
Purging and preservation with nitrogen
Purging with inert gas (nitrogen) is carried out before introducing process media to remove oxygen or air. The oxygen content must be reduced to an acceptable level to prevent the formation of an explosive or flammable mixture.

The technical specifications are as follows.
Hydraulic testing of pipelines
We perform hydraulic tests after the manufacture of pipelines, before installation or after installation during operation.

The equipment available in our fleet includes:

  • Filling unit: up to 500 m3/h
  • Pressurising unit: up to 917 bar
  • Circulation unit: up to 300 m3/h
  • Transfer pump: up to 55 m3/h
  • Filtration unit: up to 800 m3/h, 50 µm
